Microchipping Events
Here at 9 Lives Cat Rescue C.I.C. we value the importance of promoting cats being microchipped. Not only is it now the law, but it can help reunite pet owners with their missing pets.
Funding dependant we will be able to occasionally offer microchipping at a reduced rate. This service will be provided by Kellie's Pet Care Service's who is a qualified Microchip Implanter.
We will be charging £5 per microchip to the customer (Usually £15) and the rescue will pay the remaining amount to the implanter.
Date 3 - Tuesday 6th May 2025
Tuesday 6th May 2025 will be the 3rd discounted microchip day - This will be for the HU6 area
Please note only one area can be done each time due to it being a mobile service.
HU6 Postcode area
Tuesday 6th May 2025 our qualified microchip implanter will be providing discounted microchipping in the HU6 area.
It is a mobile service and Kellie will come to your home. Your cat/s must be able to be held and handled by you while they are chipped.
£5 per cat
What time?
Kellie will be in the area between 10am and 2pm
You must be available within these times, time slots cannot be given as we don't know how many appointments we will be needing to fit in and some appointments will take longer than others.
Please only book if you know you will be available.
What is involved?
Microchipping is a fairly quick procedure, Kellie uses the smallest implanter available and uses PETTRAC to then register your pets details.
Cats generally dont like being held so having a blanket or towel may be a good idea, the chipping itself will be like having a small injection.
You will be given an information card to keep and a certificate will be posted out from PETTRAC.
PLEASE make sure all details on the booking form are correct as these will be used to register your pet.
1st Event -
Our 1st Chip day was run Tuesday 1st April.
This was for the HU9 area.
We had NO takers for this offer.
2nd Event -
Our 2nd Chip day will be run Thursday 24th April.
This is for the HU3 area.
We have 10 cats booked in for this offer.
3rd Event -
Our 3rd Chip day will be run Tuesday 6th May.
This is for the HU6 area.
